there's a difference between trying and not trying. someone who actually took the time to think about the shot and put artistic effort in, THAT is art. but for example: someone who takes a picture of themselves in a mirror is not. there are clear differences. in my opinion, this photo could use more work, but i think the only reason its popular is because its a kid with a scene look, and amongst the younger crowd, that's popular. nothing against the person who posted this, but i think their gallery could use some work, but it could easily improve over time.
