The lighting is good in general, but the eyes are amazing. The ways that they pop in this photograph is outstanding. The only thing that really needs improving is a more dramatic backdrop for the picture. Something like a city scene, in front of a tree or maybe a rocky beach.
You have great potential as a photographer. If you are not already considering it for a career... then maybe you should. Another thing though is you should try smiling a bit. Or making this model smile a bit. You and/or the model has very full lips and would look amazing smiling and it would make their and/or your eyes pop more. Other than that well done =ROland

I love this! It's very original and cute. Your eye for photography is very sharp and once again original! You should try to get more of a background in there to make it more appealing towards the eyes of your viewers. I enjoy the clarity, appeal and how amazing the model is!(hope i don't sound like a weird fangirl >_< ) anywayi hope you keep posting these and work harder towards fame and badassness on deiviantart (lol sorry bout that)

The lighting and editing are fantastic! I would add just a little contrast to the eyes thought (but that's more of a stylistic choice). I like the plainness of the background; it shows me that beauty is everywhere, not just in a perfect place. I especially like seeing the corners of the frames; they feel like home, like there's life behind the subject.
