well hope u enjoy!!I didnt say excatly how i did it because i want whoever uses this to experiment themselves and find out their own style rather then learning and copying other styles ^^
so i hope this clears some of the steps up on how i color digitally

glad it could help ^^ i made itsimple on purpse becasue i wanted everyone to go and just use this for an idea, and work out their own style of coloring and figure it outthemselves so that its not like my coloring style everywhere x.X

well, it usually helps to pick 1 lighting source draw a few lines going down to ur drawing so u can visualize where the shading whould be, and then shade
im bad at advice, but thats what i do

This is great! And it's a good idea you didn't explain everything because I can't stand when people rip off other styles instead of coming up with their own.
But I have a question because I'm pretty much new to digital art..... What is cell shading?

aww thankyou! and yes i kno what u mean -.- everyone needs their own style then using others all the time to make up "their" art -.- but as for the cell shading, Its not bloended at all ^^ the shading is sharp and not softly done like gradeint shading ^^ so you can contrast between the original flat color and the shading which gives the object being shaded have more contrast and a 3d effect instead of being flat ^^

One thing i have sooooooo much trouble with is cell shading and ive never used the burn tool or the dodge tool O.O *goes and tries it lol

Your style is very similar to mine, except I use gradient when you use burn

yea only i do use the gradiend method
its the one where i said "blend shading" or something like that lol ^^ then i just burn the darker spots so they stand out more ^^
