Samhain was a few days ago, and even though I don't have a coven to celebrate with, I still find ways to celebrate with friends, family and by myself. I did a fun drawing of what i would like to have my altar look more like some day

Samhain is normally celebrated on October 31st (may 1st South) and marks the end of the harvest season, and the start of the winter. It's a time when the line between life and death is very thin and thus is a perfect time to reconnect with loved ones passed. You can celebrate by visiting a loved one's grave. If you have no loved ones berried, you could visit a local semetary and contemplate on the spiritual energy. A lot of people also celebrate the end of the harvest with a big feast.
Pot lucks are common.
