Yea, I was making a lot of references for poses back then and it's from Oda's artbook ^^'. Someone already asked me about that and I was sure I've given credits ._.

well, actually, I think it possible that he was in Slytherin, being as he had quite a lot of mental trauma and hatred going on in his life at about that time... so even if he would have been unhappy there, it made sense to want to send him there. So yeah, any house could apply except for Hufflepuff.

I'm curious... What are the facts that can prove that he was in Gryffindor?

Firstly, it was not said that he was in Slytherin.
Secondly, he was said to hang along with Slytherin members after few years. Also when Harry was learning how to defend his mind and used 'shield' spell, or sth like that (I don't remember it well right now) he saw some imagines from Snape's past. One of them was when Severus was lieing on a bed in the dark room all alone and tring to kill some flies on the ceiling. It makes reader sure that he was quite unhappy, maybe bored and he could be wondering deeply about himself. I'm sure that if he was in Slytherin, he would be happy and feel really good in.
Rowling would not show his loneliness and sadness.
In addition as a member of Slytherin he won't meet Marauders so often and so they could not attack him, cause it'd be very hard.
In my opinion he seems to be one of the hardest to understand character. And I believe that he can't be just BAD. Yea, I agree that he become worse year by year, but it's probably because of his childhood. When he entered Hogwards, as 11-years old child he could be dolorous, severe and hate his father, but he just don't suit to the Slytherin O_o (God, it sounds funny XDD).
As a stigmatized character he would feel too GOOD in Slytherin ;]. Hope you know what I mean xD
There were few more arguments, but I cannot remind them now.. When I was looking for them it was just after publishing 5th part, so it was really long time ago.

I think so. It's hard to explain really why (something like: "there was noone more suitable and he was the best candidate, even if he wasnot in Slytherin".. to look closer there really wasn't anyone who could take this place O_o etc).
Not many people agree with that opinion (well, I'm not suprised really xD). But maybe someday we'll know what the real true was ;]. Hope so~
