Description my final project for design/draw. a group project where we had to create a company and,,,well...run it, basically. marketing plan. mission statement. boutique design. clothing design for a whole year (two seasons or whatever).

our company is called anomie. we are a boutique-based clothing company/concert hall (for local/independent artists). out main mission is to promote gender-neutrality and acceptance of alternative sexual lifestyles. anomie is the condition of lacking accepted social standards.

so we came up with the designs together, my group and i, but i did all the illustrations. this is the spring collection.

I love the concept behind your company! It'd be cool if it were real

uwaaah, I really like that clear shirt thing you've got going on!! I wonder if I could ever draw it without it looking silly and strange...

guh. there are no words. i adore the way you draw; i adore androgyny; i adore the sorts of clothes you design.

(and on a complete and total tangent, i badly want hair like the one on the right, but i will not in a million years have the ovaries to even try it.)

Unnffff I want those wedges. Just sayin'.

I also really like the transparency in these ones. It's really interesting to think of it in the context of your business model-- androgynous clothes tend to generate mystery, yet these are transparent.

I don't know, I just love it.

I have to agree with your saying the Spring collection is better than the Winter. I like them both a lot, but there's something the Spring ones have that the Winter ones don't.

I love your style so much. The clean lines and exaggerated bodies. Perfect for fashion drawings and for comics.

the spring ones have color. i argued with my group to get it, but i wasn't able to convince them to do much for the winter collection.

and, thanks
