self portrait series i did for my drawing final last semester. this is about...half of them? it was four-five weeks of work, anywhere from 12-25 pieces each week. these are the ones i liked best.

charcoal on manila paper. most are 9x12 inches, but a few are 18x24.

in keeping with a theme, i guess.

and, fyi, though i didn't show it in the photographs i just submitted, i actually do have a lazy eye. its been an embarrassment of mine since i was old enough to be self-conscious (age 12 or so? lol), so i usually try to emphasize it in portraits. sometimes it works; sometimes it just looks like i suck at drawing. anyways, thats why my eyes are kooky in some of these pictures.
