I learnt also on an old mechanical one I found in a cupboard at work. I used to work night shift and it helped pass hours of boredom. It was not dissimilar to the one in the photo except that one has a letter or two not on a modern keyboard, I think. It is still the future for me. I can't believe I even got here.

Yeah.. I watched scifi movies in the 80s.. today seems like a scifi movie! 
I love being able to touch type...
