So I drew Ruby again. Been playing a bit of Grimm Eclipse with some friends so between that and vol 3 I've been pretty inspired to do more RWBY stuff, though not entirely sure what to do most of the time. So I drew Ruby smiling. This is actually based off of a screenshot from when she was hanging off of Qrow's arm, but with a few differences, the most notable is obviously the lack of Qrow. So yeah. I'm still pretty fucking terrible at "anime" eyes or . . . well "anime" style in general.

Didn't take me very long to do, and I actually used a completely different process than what I was use to. Normally I use a method called "line sculpting", not my original method but it typically works for me. This time I used just "traditional" sketching, which seemed to work overall. I also normally go in and paint black and white before moving into color. I didn't do that this time, instead just went straight for color and worked from there. In the end I liked the result. May do more like that in the future, mostly because it takes a lot less time than "normal".
