Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon introduced most people to Sentinel Prime, leader of the Autobots prior to Optimus Prime.
Sentinel Prime's existed since the G1 heyday in the 80s, however.
In the G1 cartoon he just shows up to die.
In DreamWave's War Within he was a peacetime leader who got overwhelmed by the war with the Decepticons and got beaten to death by Megatron when his "talking the genocidal Decepticon leader down with philosophy" plan didn't work out.
In IDW's Megatron: Origins Sentinel Prime's a frustrated Autobot leader who doesn't get the support from the Autobot Senate that he needs to combat rampant crime that will eventually lead to the Decepticon uprising.
So Sentinel's gone through a few incarnations in just his G1 form alone. Yet he never got a toy. Which I've found disappointing. So I decided to make one.
I took the Voyager class DotM Sentinel Prime toy, popped off the head, and put a Robot Masters Starsabre head in its place. The Starsabre head is Prime-y enough, and the scaled down Voyager class figure simplifies the movie aesthetic enough that I think it can pass a G1 body.
