Description
:sigh: I'm going to have to take a crack at Dragon Age now, aren't I?EDIT: Okay, thanks for the feedback, everyone, I've fixed the whole "Shepherd's face" issue to the best of my admittedly feeble abilities.
EDIT 2: I will do a "FemShep/Kaiden lives" variant at some point in the future. Just not right now... feeling like I've had my fill of Mass Effect for the moment...

The most striking quality of this art is its ability to capture the very essence of the game it represents; from juxtaposition of imagery to the colour palette, the themes and ideas of each game are reproduced in an authentic way. Together, they show us the overall progression the trilogy has taken.
In the first, the Normandy/mass relay reflects [our] Shepard's first steps in exploring the corners of the cosmos. The second switches heavily to a focus on characters ā specifically crew members - and Legion/Tali stand conflicted as a symbol of the geth/quarian struggle. By the third, Shepard has arrived at his crossroads, and the signs are not altogether very optimistic.
Imagery of Shepard also serves as the avatar of his general psychology in each game. Firstly, relatively unprepared. Secondly, under the watchful eye of the Illusive Man, unsure. Thirdly, hardened, defiant.
Apologies to the author if this is considered to be an over-analysis, I was struck by how true to the series this piece is and felt compelled to share. Good job!

The art work for all three is just beautiful, you can tell a lot of work went into each piece. If Bioware had done things like for their cover for the games then I am pretty sure they would of sold a lot more games, I do think it would be nice to see a FemShep version cause Male Shep is always getting used and I seriously think that he has been over played quiet a bit. Still I can not find a single fault with these at all, the colors are perfect for each piece. You can actually feel the emotion from the characters and the struggle they went thru. Not to mention seeing the friends and enemies that were made also makes it just as strong of an impact than anything.

Ok this is for all three covers.
I have taken a look at all three individual covers, and I have to say: These are FANTASTIC. Beautiful adaptations of all the characters, superb designing, the eye is drawn just as it should be on down the line from Shepard, and you've created something that SHOULD be the covers of all three games.
Now, I've never written a critique on DA before, but you've inspired me. You've got every possible element needed in a cover. Each one is clear, it tells the story of each game beautifully, and highlights the characters that have the most impact, as well as bringing in a wonderfully tasteful element of action into the scene.
You've captured the very essence of each game perfectly, and looking at them evokes the same emotions in me that playing the games do, so much so that I got chills looking at them. Each character seems to jump out of the page and tell you their story, which is a difficult thing to accomplish, but you've done it quite well here.
All in all, excellent work, and very wonderfully executed. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

First of all, I have to start off by saying amazing work. I am sure this took lots of painstaking attention to detail to get this looking as awesome as it does. So definitely do continue to do more, and yes, even take that crack at Dragon Age if you feel up to it.
In regards critique though, I would recommend one major thing. Try not to let your shading and darkening get a way from you. It seems like in some of the darker tones of the piece, the saturation is low and so some of the detail is lost.
I would also suggest perhaps taking a look at Shepards facial design. I know some people like to break from the norm and draw the Shep differently than the ingame and promo art represents, and that is cool. But if you are going to go for that Sheppard, it is good to keep it as close as possible.
On a side note, but somewhat related, perhaps we could get a FemShep version as well? I know the fans love FemShep possibly even more than MaleShep. Just a thought.
But finally, I just want to reiterate what I said at the beginning. Amazing work. Just beautiful and surreal. I can't praise it enough. But do continue to improve your work. Even if it isn't in the areas I suggested, always work to make your hand, eye, and mind better. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

These are good enough to be official movie posters, I assume they were designed after the Star Wars movie posters? Because I am getting that vibe.Ā
Needless to say that are dramatic as hell.

Go for it, mate.
It'd be pretty depressing if the guy who has the monopoly on Struzan-inspired Mass Effect posters turned out to be me.
Let me know how they turn out.

You missed out Tali in the ME2 poster (or I just can't see her)!
Apart from that, amazing pieces of work.

All three o these are really great. Among the best ME posters I've seen. They should have used something like this for the boxart, because this is the kind of EPIC cover work that you need to convey just how awesome these games are. I love how you managed to fit in so many characters, without making any of the posters look crowded. I know that can be hard sometimes. Really great job, it really gives me some layout ideas for some of my future posters as well. Thank You for sharing and keep up the good work.

Wow these three Mass Effect posters are just masterpieces in my opinion and I personally would not mind if these posters were the official ones that promoted the games
Each poster has the characters that illustrates each of the Mass Effect story plots so you are right on the money
