Dreams . . .

I dream of space and the stars.

I dream of seeing the uniqueness of the world and all the rare wonders it holds.

I dream of becoming healthy and in shape.

I dream learning to be skillful with a sword.

I dream of living in balance with the world and life.

I dream of becoming a skillful artist.

And most of all I dream of enlightenment. . .

So many dreams of the future and so many of them work against each other and the same is true when applying them to a painting. I struggled trying to find a balance between them so it would not become overwhelming and presented them in more dream like reality.

Each dream is incorporated whether in small or big. I started off with a more realistic feel but then added a bit of roughness in (such as bleeding through my original sketches and line work, to random brush marks, to just having fun with layer properties and etc) to help give more of that art like feel to help express the dream of being an artist (Adding a canvas just seemed to out of place lol).

I have roughly 15 hours invested using Photoshop CS3.
