I used an universal Gary Fong Lighsphere on my old Minolta flash unit. When I bought my Nikon D300, I also bought a Vivitar 285hv just to notice that my "universal" lightsphere wasn't universal at all.

After multiple attempts of fitting it, I realized I needed to make my own (since I'm not going to spend $50 again) diffuser. And after a lot of reading, thinking and procrastination, finally I made it today.

So I made a tutorial so all of you who, like me, don't have money to spend but still want to improve your external flash experience. It's my first tutorial, I think it's pretty clear, but feel free to ask anything else. Fav if you like.
