I was just wondering what is making this picture so unique.
It is the shadow between her fingers drives all the distraction away making her face alienated.
And the eyes like bright star making you forget about everything else....

Digital shoot with EOS 20D.
Two white umbrella for backlight, one main source in shower and a reflector...
back lights = +1 stop 1/3 over-exposition, main source=+1 stop over-exposition.
Thoses values must be adapted to highlight tolerance of films (for reversible, it's more) or digital camera (lot of d. cameras can't overexpose more than a half stop).
Post-prod with a photoshop curve for reaching losted matter limits.
