The picture was right there in my head and had to get out.
I rather like it, the only thing that bothers me is that the scan really doesn't do it justice. I tried, but didn't manage to get a better scan, tried to adjust it with Photoshop, but...
The original still looks ten times better.Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this. I like how she seems to stand in the middle of a theater background. I like the lack of perspective. I like her puffy red hair.
The dress is somewhat similar to my L'oiseau picture, I just can't get enough of big pretty dresses!
And YAY!! Buttons!! It had been too long since I last drew buttons.

Ooh.. I really like this. The mix of bold and subtle colours is a really good choice, and the composition is lovely.
My favourite bits are the moon and stars, and the different layers of fabric of her dress.

I like how you've left the paper showing around the edges of this drawing. You also repeated the colors of her hair in the buttons on her dress which I think is a very nice detail. The strings on the moon and stars makes me think that we're looking at a model at a photo shoot or a stage actress performing. Very nice image.

and each strand will say, "you copied my style" and they will revolt against one another and ultimately against the head they grow out of, even though the red part is all dead because hair is dead except for the VERY VERY VERY rooty roots.
