Maybe I'm crazy, but I think I would rather see Spider-Man looking like this in the movies rather than how he did in the Sam Raimi films or how he's going to in the upcoming reboot.
Great pose and lighting, by the way.
Don't know what you did to get that effect around the head, but it instantly reminded me of some of the visual cues used in the comics to represent the Wall-Crawler's Spidey Sense.

For additional realism Spidey's costume specs include mirrored lenses. Yours looks fantastic by the by. It help that the model (who I assume is you but I could be wrong) is in shape to wear it.

Better than the Spiderman from the old TV series!
There should be a spiderman film with a simple classic uniform like that. It worked when Alex Ross painted it in Marvels comic book. Why wouldn't it work in a movie?
