I love these two. I think, in a way they are almost the same. Least in my mind.

There is a person on DA, who I absolutely love her fanfics of Rise of the Guardians. Amazing work ;-;

In her stories, Jack was once human, but died and was reborn as Jack Frost.
And Ember was also once alive/human.. Both died by their elements.

And mostly the reason they act rebellious is because they just want to be remembered, or believed in. Wanting people to know their still there and to be loved.
