Contest entry forSo I wasted basically an entire day trying to think up ideas for this picture. It's not a shipping contest, so I wasn't limited to something like that, but as I tried to sketch out some ideas it kept delving into romance fluff. So here we have it.
I really like the idea of Flash taking Sunset out flying. Especially after her being reformed, and trying to trust people, and then Flash takes her flying and drops her on a cloud or something. ^^

LOL! This is actually a really small layer count for me. Usually I'm up around 50-65. I layer evvvvveeerything because I don't...quite know how to use GIMP. I'm pretty fast by using my handicapped, cobbled-together way, but there's probably easier ways to do this. So I put everything on a seperate layer (Flash Sentry Main Outline, Flash Sentry Tail Outline, Flash sentry Color Base, etc.) so there's no mixup.

Oh! Layers are super-easy to use. xD They're an organizational tool really, to make sure that everything's all lined up. Sometimes I have to go over and very carefully erase any little bits left over, but usually they're super helpful. I don't know WHAT I'd do in a program that didn't have layers.
