So I've actually been sitting on a couple pages for awhile. I'd been doing some going back and changing my mind about things for a bit, and didn't want to post while I was still doing that. Still not totally happy(particularly the first two pages for this chapter), but whatever. I can't let myself get too frustrated with it or it'll become more tedious than I want it to be. I just need to learn to let some things be a little messy. Focus on the big picture.
There's more backgrounds to this one than the last chapter, so it takes me longer. Hopefully as I get more experience with those I'll get faster. But in the meantime, I'm slow. And they might be a bit lame sometimes. My interest and focus generally lies more in drawing characters than environments. I'm not all that impressed with the first panel, but I eventually just decided to deal with it and move on. Can't be spending too much time worrying about one panel.
I never know how to start things, so sorry if it feels abrupt. I like it better once things get going a bit more. I think it starts getting more interesting around page 4, but I have to lead up to that with a couple dialogue heavy pages. Then stuff will happen, then they'll go back to talking.
Not sure how quickly I'll be able to update. I have classes to worry about. Sometimes I think about setting a schedule for myself, but I don't think I'd actually follow it, heh.
