Requested by joytotheworld123This is a scene from her fanfic, Nobody To Turn To, where Frisk is bandaging San's head after an injury that caused a large hole in his skull. I ended up covering the hole, so just know that it's large.

I actually made this a nighttime scene at first, then went to double check the time of day and found it was morning. Slightly sad because it looked good as a nighttime scene. But whatever. Now it looks more like a sunset, but let's pretend it's a sunrise.
Also, had to put Frisk in pajamas, but I'm actually not that creative for an artist, haha, so I just inverted the shirt colors.
So! This ended up being a lot of new and experimental things for me. Good learning experience. If you know anything about me, it's probably that I hate backgrounds. But this was specifically set in a bathroom, so I needed to actually do something for the scene. Yes, this is the bathroom from Deltarune. I found a wonderful 3D design HERE that was a huge help. Then I had to figure out some of the tools that I never use that are vastly helpful for this sort of thing, such as the perspective ruler. Good opportunity to get acquainted with those. This is by far the best background I have ever done. I also more than likely spent more time on that than the characters themselves.

From a professional no-backgrounder to another, this is awesome ❤️ I'm trying to get better at backgrounds as well... I think the problem is not really drawing them, but not knowing where to start or how to fill space. At least this is my problem XD I just put things there, floating in an empty void

Good point. Even if I do put some sort of background together, I struggle to give it personality. Like decorations on the walls, what kind of junk people might have in their room, etc. I just...don't think about that, I guess.

I think it's a vicious cycle of nobody wants to play Medic because medics are never appreciated properly. But because there are no medics, nobody properly appreciates them.
I actually don't play because my computer can't handle anything, lags to an unusable level, overheats, then shuts down. So...I just watch Youtubers.

I play medic too but not all too often I'm afraid. My pryo-ing is more than just a wm1, I try and do the good more than just flaming people's asses.
Dude, medics though are rare as hell and when you find a good one you're in luck. I don't play too often because people don't keep me alive and I die all too often. It's frustrating xD
Youtubes is a good way to get your TF2 content regardless of playing or not though.

When I did try to play, I tried to play medic. I think I'd be a Medic main if I could play, even though I'm aware it can be frustrating.
Yeah, I'd like to think I know a decent amount about the game despite not having much practical experience. And you can find some entertaining youtubers as well. I used to watch a lot of Muselk, but, ah... not as much anymore.

They don't. Pyro is a meme for noobs more or less but it takes a lot of skill to really play them right. Medic is difficult to play right and not die. It takes a good concentration to go and keep health on everyone.
That's how I was with Overwatch tbh, watched a lot of youtube videos before I could play the game xD
Yea I stopped watching Muselk. He lost his appeal that I saw in him before. I don't watch a whole lot of TF2 vids anymore sadly, I probably should but I haven't found a lot of people that I enjoy watching.

Yeah the "easy" characters do take a lot of skill to actually use effectively.
I think I'm more drawn to Medic because I don't really get a lot of satisfaction for hitting or killing other players. Plus, my aim is awful and it's a miracle if I get a kill anyway. But it's most satisfying to save a teammate from death and to get an Uber(means you stayed alive long enough, haha)
I did that with Overwatch too. I got into it because of Muselk. I started watching him when he was mostly TF2, and stuck around for Overwatch. I still watch some of his videos(mostly on his second channel where he'll post things that aren't Fortnite).
Yeah, the more entertaining TF2 Youtubers haven't really stuck around.

Right! They're easy but to play right they need more skill than people are usually willing to put in; the casuals. I feel you on that aim thing though, I'm pretty terrible with it on the fly but if I can take a bit of time to set things up I'm pretty decent. Although I'm sucky at playing sniper, everyone is always faster on me taking the shot xD
Yeah that's always satisfying, although I hate the scouts or some of the more squishier classes spamming medic over and over again expecting to be pocketed.
Zylbrad was my kryptonite tbh. Stopped watching him though after a while too. I liked watching some of the PUBG videos when they came out though.

Right. The skill ceiling in TF2 is pretty high. Overwatch's in comparison is not nearly as high, from what I can tell.
For awhile, I had taken to trying rocket jumping maps. That way, if I lag, I don't screw up the whole team. I did pretty decent, I think. Not sure I could really do it now though.
Haha, yeah. I understand that they can't afford to take as much damage as a heavy or something, but the spamming in unnecessary.
I always wish Muselk had the Overwatch friends play TF2 more. Watch them be total newbies at it and do silly stuff and die a lot. But that didn't really happen. Did once.
Zylbrad has some good moments, but he has more crude language that gets bothersome after awhile. I mean, he doesn't need to say F*** ever other sentence. And he has a tendency to cause drama.
I really like Bazza. I think he's funny. Video uploads are pretty sporadic though.

You lag and you have more a chance to kill yourself than fly halfway across the map. It really is and someone like a scout can go speed away from the more damaging classes and get to the health packs easier imo.
I'd have loved to seen the group play more TF2, Bazza'd have fun playing if he got to know the game better I think. I like Muselk's videos but I like ones where he plays with people. They're definitely funnier.
I don't mind that particularly, I do that a lot when I game xD; I tend to get salty. But I lost interest in him too. A lot of the content started getting a little to eh, same-y for me? Like, I watch one video and it seems like I can watch another one and it will be about the same.

I like watching groups of friends playing together. You never really know what you're gonna get. Even when I would watch Pewdiepie or something, I preferred the ones where he was playing with others. Like...prop hunt, or something.
Ah, yeah, that makes sense. Sometimes I think about how hard of a balance that must be though. Gotta keep things different enough to stay fresh, but also can't get too different or they could lose what people liked about them. Can't really win, I suppose.

I wish I knew. It's one of the mysteries of Undertale. But it does seem intentional, given that he's the only one to bleed, even though other characters received similar injuries.
