Description
After seeing these two separate images penciled by Ed Benes of Madelyne Pryor as the Goblin Queen and Meggan as the Goblin Princess, I thought they really needed to be merged. I used a version of the Goblin Princess colored by Alexa Rosa , and a version of the Goblin Queen colored by Danielle Alexis St. Pierre .

The backgrounds for these images were rather different, so I finally opted to erase those backgrounds and replace them with a more unified background, favoring the colors used for the Goblin Princess, just because I liked those better. I brightened the background on the right side to help make the Goblin Queen stand out more, because the brighter colors of the Goblin Princess' hair, skin tone, and outfit made her stand out a bit too much... and let's face it, the Queen needs to own the show!

The biggest challenge in changing the background was the Goblin Queen's hair. I'm not sure I did as well as I would have liked preserving her hair while brushing out the background, but I'm still pleased with the results.
