I know the song is about a "boy," but in a way I feel like it really fits here (just noting some aspects of Azusa herself).
She learned to walk and talk on time
But never cared much to be held
And steadily she would decline
Into her solitary shell.
As a girl she was considered somewhat odd
Kept to herself most of the time
She would daydream in and out of her own world
But in every other way she was fine.
She's a Monday morning lunatic
Disturbed from time to time
Lost within herself
In her solitary shell.

I'm a complete scrub. XD I started to teach myself to draw digitally about half-way through last year and got pointers from *SteveArgyle . And as I immersed myself into this world... I felt so tiny and insignificant compared to everyone else. It's a bad habit! Dx

To name a few there's ~xiaocaca , *Elenath and ~Emruki who all kick my butt. Dx And Steve could technically be considered a friend by now but he's 22 years older than me so of course he's amazing. XD

Those pictures are really good especially Emruki. Elenath has cute chibis... (My one weakness..) And xiaocaca is really bizarre. But yours are really good too. Dont beat yourself up. XD

Emruki (Ru) is my age, Elenath (Sofia) is 4 years older than me and xiaocaca (Catalina) is 2 years YOUNGER than me. She's the progigy that makes me feel bad about myself. XD She used to do nothing but photorealism and now she's developed into this ridiculous fine artist... but unlike the first two she's a different route than me. Sofia, Ru and I are all aspiring comic artists. Gah... so jealous... I'm really starting to think that girls are just better at this stuff.

Your still really good. You just said you just started right? Just keep plugging away and hopefully you will get better with experience . Just keep doing what you do and make great pictures. About the girls being better at this stuff... Your probably right. XD

I mean, I've been drawing a long time but only recently did I do digital stuff. I even had a phase where (mostly out of jealousy of Cat) I did nothing but photorealism. XD To other artists it's never impressive but the general public is all like, "OMG HOW YOU DO DAT?"
