Timelapse video here on my new channel!This is art for a Yu-Gi-Oh! OriCa that I'm making. Please don't use without my permission, since I plan on making more OriCas to sell.

It's 2015 and people are still selling this art on OriCas, even on playmats. I guess I should feel humbled that random people like my drawing, but there is no credit, and often the dealers will say they got permission or claim ownership to my art. That's not cool. If you see anyone else with this artwork posted, you should report them. I never ended up selling my OriCas, but I had made three, which I gave to three of my close friends in college. I firmly believe that if you're going to sell OriCas, you should own the art you're selling, either via permission from the artist (expect to give them a cut) or creating it yourself. Doing otherwise makes you no more than a thief.

Oh, thanks! Excellent work btw. I have seen a lot of custom cards made with your artwork and I was annoyed because people were putting a watermark on your image when it wasn't their artwork and when I asked them who is the original artist they wouldn't tell me. Yeah, that really annoys me. I had originally made this because I wanted to do OriCas as well, and I also wanted to set up the cards really nicely. Ended up making like three to give to friends and didn't sell any. I saw way too many on eBay and that was really confusing, because I'm not a popular artist, but this drawing was seen by many OriCa makers. While selling proxy cards is sort of a grey area, I think it's absolutely wrong to profit off of someone else's artwork, especially because it is objectively more work for me to make a drawing than for someone to make an OriCa (the ones I made took no longer than five minutes to set up, and I printed them as secret rare foils). These guys always seem to crop it above the knees where my old signature was. Which is also annoying, because this was the first drawing that I learned how to render legs decently. XD (Gosh the cropping on most of these are awful, it's like the people using my art have no concept of graphic design.)
I found a picture of the first two I made, the "proto-types" before they were glued. I still have my Hornets, but like I mentioned in that block of text, my friends have the Tour Guides.

Yes, I agree with you. It's wrong to profit off of someone else's work and without asking for permission to sell something that isn't yours. I appreciate the hard work that goes into these art pieces and I want people to credit the original artist of the artwork but most of them just take a picture that isn't theirs and puts a watermark on it, especially on most of the custom cards I have seen on deviantart.Β

Yup, and their watermarks are always veeeery ugly. I'd never want to do that to my own work, but sadly that's how stuff gets ripped. :/

Basically I just drew my own version of the card and made "proxies," so I made the text boxes and everything. But, I also made the card full-art, so instead of looking like a Yu-Gi-Oh card, it was the information floating over the artwork itself. They're really just for fun.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 Fiend-Type monster from your hand or Deck. Its effects are negated, and it cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.

She was expensive cause she was used mainly in TOP decks, like Dino Rabbit and Insektors .... now she is not that expensive, due the semi-limitation and the limitation of the Bunny XD
