So today I found out that the Flame Princess apparently has an age, and it's also apparently under 18, because the other version of this drawing was reported and deleted. Go figure.

Beautiful artwork. I most like how you made the skirt of the dress look ember-ish, similar to FP's hair.
I'm also intrigued seeing all the pervs thinking she's taking the dress off rather than putting it on and adjusting it. Granted, the image can go both ways, but it's still amusing to me since I thought the latter over the former.

Thanks Demon242! It's so weird how people read really REALLY deeply into a quick sketch I did three years ago. I'm still getting flack over this drawing, and I'd remove it if it didn't have so many favorites (after all, I assume people faved the drawing because they liked it, and it'd be kinda rude to just delete it?).
It's probably best to stay away from anything that's super popular on Tumblr, though. They will find you and they will make sure you are miserable. :I

This drawing is actually really bad. D; Dunno how it got so popular. At the time I also didn't know Flame Princess's age, since PB is like ancient and all. A whole bunch of people got super mad at me for this one and the angry comments started to get old. -_-'

...exploited...? I don't get it, it still sounds like you're trying to talk down to me or something. ._.' I thought I also said that, when I drew this two years ago, I didn't know she was supposed to have an age, because so many characters in the show were ancient but don't appear that way (especially because of the style). Also I don't like drawing voluptuous figures, nor really like them myself either so there wasn't really an ulterior motive for it, just "drawing her with a different body type" than I normally do. Had it been my own preference, she'd be much smaller-chested but yeah. Old drawing, didn't know she's a young character, drew a different body type... not into that stuff. And drawing the figure before drawing the clothing is a classical approach that's generally used more often than not in the professional world... to ensure proportions are correct and the clothing conforms. Clearly the anatomy is really wonked out on this drawing, and it's also not that strong of a rendering (I think the drawing is terrible, personally), but as a student it's important to practice stuff like anatomy and rendering. Essentially... it being Flame Princess was inconsequential to the drawing, but making it a fanart piece gave it more exposure than if it was just a "normal" figure or an original character.
...yeah.
I guess you can use it if you want, but it's not that good of a drawing. With all the attention this still gets, and how ignored my drawings are these days, I might fold and draw something of her again, but more tasteful and better overall.

Ah, the comments really read as sarcasm and like for two years straight, through this site and YouTube/G+ I've been getting hate comments and messages about the portrayal and like I didn't even intend anything, I just freakin' drew it, y'know?
