Description
What started out as a VERY rough sketch, I tried to visualize the shapes and shading as well as capture some of the mystery surrounding Ben solo. This is my first ever attempt at drawing a human character, And first attempt at a headshot. Any inputs or comments are highly welcomed! Enjoy!Related content

I'd be pissed if I did something this difficult(especially given my current art level) and all anybody said was "not bad". So I gotta give credit where it's due

It ain't easy when you know more about what you draw more than how to draw what you know

No ones put it for me like that yet. But it makes perfect sense. Just look at a few images. Get them engrained DEEP in your mind..do a few drawings with reference portraits..try not to copy just one. Look at multiple images of the same thing to get a sense of the shapes. In time visualization becomes easier and more natural.

Yeah...though it would help if my Watcom Bamboo would show where I draw, like a screen-capture of my laptop so I know where I've drawn if I have to get up and do something. Though the fact I can't keep a steady hand doesn't help at all
