After its defeat at the hands of the guardians, Baroghidra's soul escaped back to the Hell dimension it was spawned from. There, it began to regenerate and grow more powerful, fuelled by an immeasurably intense hatred for Lyrados and the other kaiju that protect the world. The Circle of Ash sensed the force of the demon's new hatred and began to search the hellish planes for it's source by astral projection. once they discovered Baroghidra had been reborn, they hastily summoned it back to the mortal plane, and the sect of the cult that cast the spell was immediately devoured by the larger, more powerful monster it had become. it's armour was stained dark, it's flesh glowed brightly with the spectral energy it now possessed, an aspect of that energy manifested into a crown-like halo above the colossus' head. Baroghidra would face the guardians once again, it would seek to destroy and devour them all, and this fragile world would have a new emperor.
