Description
A giant, armoured shark kaiju and one of the guardians, also known as "The Torch of the Sea" due to the flame coloured bioluminescence on its fins.
-Perfect Engine- Being a shark, Gigacharodon is superbly evolved to hunt and kill efficiently but, being a guardian, it is also gifted with free thought and intelligence that it uses to strategize and weigh up risks before taking them, making it a lethal fighting machine.
-Crushing Jaws- Gigacharodon's bite is the strongest ever recorded and its tenacity when latched on to a foe means it is almost impossible to shake loose. Its multiple rows of overdeveloped teeth, powerful jaw muscles and thrashing motions mean it can cause some savage physical wounds. This, coupled with the anticoagulant that coats its teeth, means that a single bite from this shark can bring down even powerful kaiju.
-Denticle Armour- The millions of tiny denticles that cover a shark's body have merged together in Gigacharodon, creating plates of armour constructed of the same strong material its teeth are made of, meaning it is light yet tough, smooth but sharp, even being sharp enough to wound foes who attack the wrong areas physically.
-Torch Of The Sea- The flame coloured fins on its body are bioluminescent as well as able to generate an exothermic reaction, boiling the water around them and skalding submerged opponents.
-Feeding Frenzy- the scent of blood, which it can detect from a seperate ocean and home in on, causes Gigacharodon to go berserk and attempt to devour its opponent in a brutal assault. These frenzies tend to draw massive schools of ordinary sharks which take part in the attack and cause further, if somewhat limited, damage.
-Amphibious Tendencies- Gigacharodon is an aquatic kaiju but due to its tenacity and powerful body, it has been known to thrash itself onto dry land in pursuit or ambush of an enemy and can survive on land for a moderate period of time before being forced to return to the water.
