Looks nice, although they don't really look like Ruby and Sapphire (well, they do look like them, but they're too much like May and Brandon).
Ruby is supposed to be a contest-boy who loves everything what's pretty and hate to battle, and Sapph is supposed to be the wild-girl who loves to battle. She's mostly drawn with a little teeth to resemble that. :]
There personality's are very different from May's and Brendan's, but I don't think you would have known that unless you've red the manga. xDD
Anyway, I like the sketch. I hope you'll color it soon. :3
