I'm practicing with normal printer paper and I can't get the pinching right. Is there something that needs to be done to achieve this? Stupid question I know, but I can never get past the pinching part because it isn't thick enough or have enough air to fold into itself for it.
Thank you very much if you answer!

If you have any advice on how to pinch them effectively, please let me know. I try and it looks more like the hulk destroying them when I try to do it carefully haha. I'm careful, but they still crush in and crumple themselves no matter what I do .

when you fold them, try to tuck everything in reeaally tightly and neatly that and push two sides in that are opposite to each other at the same time
that usually work for me

Make dozens of paper stars then flick them at the back of his head? o3o;
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Knitsune In reply to Tohkoe [2011-12-23 03:11:34 +0000 UTC]
Lol, I make dozens of them and then string them all and hang them on my friends' doors or desks at work <3 It's really fun to write tiny little messages on them too.
Another fun idea I found was to write little messages on the strips before you fold the stars, and then fill a jar with them. He can pick one out every day and unfold it to see what you have on there, maybe little motivational things or sweet nothings?
