Anybody else noticed the toa metrus names rhyme except nuju and matau? I mean, vakama/nokama. Whenua/onewa.

These guys look like they belong in the Legend of Zelda series. Somewhat fitting since I made a spiritual comparison between them the other day. It's just that when I read the Triforce components, the lyrics to Quest for Camelot's first song, and the virtues and principles of the Matoran, I just imagined Hyrulean Knights making a big shel about them.

You never fail to disappoint! They're all so intricate- I don't think I can decide on a favorite, although speaking from a masculine perspective, Nokama is up there.
I love Whenua's background! Reminiscent of the movie version of the archives, and I enjoyed what you did with their tools (back before they were just enormous, senseless weapons).
Every time I look back to the picture, something new jumps out at me. The dripping protodermis in Ta-Metru, The fact that Matau seems to be balancing precariously on a support beam (and his cheeky smile XD ), or the Nuju being... well, Nuju. XD

Whenua's background was fun--actually all their backgrounds were really fun. I'm quite proud of them.

I can tell you were enjoying yourself. There's something about an artist's style that when they're more excited about a piece, there is something extra... a little more... pizzazz, that makes it all the more engaging to look at.
It screams Matau, honestly. The only thing that would've made it better would be a wrecked vehicle 200 feet below him and a sheepish expression on his face.
