Wow this took a looong time. Ok so I'm hopping on the bandwagon and making a comic of the soul silver nuzlocke I did last summer. Since this is the very first page of the prologue it'll probably be a while before the story really gets started. Also, this one page took ages and since I'm a full time student and part of a couple groups here on dA you probably shouldn't expect quick updates; real life comes first. That being said I'm really excited bout this because it's something I've wanted to d for a long time now. Lastly, I'm brand new to paint tool sai, so if anyone has any helpful tips, tricks (specially with regard to making speech bubbles) or constructive criticism to make all this more efficient/higher quality, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Rules

1. If a pokemon faints in-game it's dead and can't be used again

2. Only catch the first pokemon you see per area (a gifted pokemon counts as your first encounter of that area)

a) towns/cities count as new areas

3. Nickname all your pokemon

4. Dupes clause (if your first encounter is a pokemon from the same evolutionary line as one you already have you cannot catch it and have two more tries to catch a new pokemon)

5. Player cannot trade to evolve pokemon

6. Legendary pokemon may not be caught

7. Shiny pokemon are exempt from rule #2
