While overall friendly, Tian was never too good with serious situations as he tends to change subjects or walk away completely from things like that. While many find him childish, Tian uses his mannerisms and flamboyant attitude to keep conversations light and happy. He keeps any bad thoughts or big responsibilities in the back of his mind, hoping to never have to face them. As a result, however, he has a growing anxiety that will one day bite him. In order to get rid of some of the stress, he uses his job, which allows him to venture out around Song-lu, as well as through painting, giving his mind room on a canvas.
Tian was a sheltered child and kept ignorant to preserve his "innocence" and thus is a little dense. He finds himself liking the company of people, making his job all the more enjoyable. While there are only certain locations he’s supposed to take his group to he always manages to go of course, taking his customers to his favorite places, whether safe or not. Thus far, he has not gotten anyone into danger or even lost his own job. The majority enjoy his tours mostly because of how enthusiastic he is (not to mention they seem to be more magical when he’s the one giving the tour).
History: Song-lu's scenery led his parents there many years before Tian was even born. His parents, Kala and Gil, were among of the few elves that left Delverne to explore other places making many stops before arriving in Song-lu. Originally they had planned to head back before having children, but nevertheless Tian was born into Song-lu. His parents raised him there for a few years, keeping him indoors to protect their sweet child, teaching him the message of Aurea and passing down their magic to him the best they could, occasionally leaving to keep exploring. When they came back to tell him of places they have seen, Tian made sure to remember each detail as much as he could before drawing it out on paper later. At age thirteen, he was left in the care of an elder enchantress elf who resided along the coast of Song-lu without Tian ever really knowing why. When he asked the elder, she would respond with “with Aurea”. Tian would tell himself that they just went back to Delverne and has been in denial since.
At age 15 Tian began to make some money by selling the paintings and drawings he had made with his own hands. Whenever he thought he had run out of ideas, he would venture out into Song-lu, even when told not to, exploring places as he felt his parents would have done. Finding a new place each time left him in awe with tons of material for another art piece. Back in his home, the enchantress he lived with often taught him to create mirages and other illusions. Fascinated by the “tricks”, as Tian put it, he soon learned to make mirages in his paintings, bringing his strokes to life.
By 19 he moved out with the help of his caretaker and lived on his own in the city. He was able to buy a small space for himself where he still is able to make art for himself and for any wanting customer. Although nervous about leaving his source of security (Pei Pei), his enthusiasm for the world as he knows it planted him a job with a touring business. Thus, Tian found a new joy in his life: seeing others fascinated by the views in Song-lu.
Current: After joining Maera to one of her trips to Mr Masamichi's home, Tian is overwhelmed by his first meetings with other light elves. First it was Sarain whom agreed to help him train and even set up a regimen to help him gain some muscle. Then the light elf performing twins, Kara and Etan whom are enchanters and willing to guide Tian on his road to becoming an enchanter himself. Besides that, Tian is looking for other ways of employment since his days as tour guide have been slow since Mutiny. Less vacationers are around and Song-Lu is looking grimmer by the day. Meanwhile Mae landed herself a job at a pastry shop.

Ju- Tian's cat. He means the world to Tian, no matter how spoiled the young feline is
Shu Pei Li- Tian's caretaker since early on and official caretaker after his parents pass on. Though growing up calling her "Pei Pei", Tian never knew much about her other than the fact that she has a granddaughter and is an enchantress herself. Even so, Tian fully trusts her and never questions anything she does. Shu is the only one to know what happened to his parents, but never revealed anything.
Mai Shuu- Shu Pei's granddaughter who owns a pub somewhere in the city. While doing tours, Tian sometimes stops by to say hello or collect anything his caretaker might have for him. Shuu is stern and well collected, never letting anything get in her way unlike the wishy-washy Tian. Thus, Mai never liked the way Tian carried himself and is often scolding and butting heads with him. Although they don't interact much, Shu Pei left Tian in her care since they both live in the city.
Others (in the order that he met them)
Airez - a traveling merchant whom Tian met and befriended at the market after he had become interested in Tian's paintings. Promising to sell them elsewhere, Airez buys some of his pieces as well. Although they do not see each other often due to their jobs, he is one of few in Song-Lu who know Tian is actually a light elf in disguise.
Maera -Having met at a festival, she and Tian grew close slowly and are now good friends. Due to some circumstances, Mae left her home in Iadlain and started living with Tian. He cares for her deeply and has even starting training and looking for guidance in order to protect himself rather than being protected all the time.
Soora - a fellow elven friend who works at a brothel. Tian often seeks her company as she of warm heart and perked ears. He hopes they have a long lasting friendship together, but most of all wishes for her freedom. On the down-low, he and Mae secretly teach her basic magic and other languages to aid her in her future.
Blayne -A friend and mentor who has helped Tian out in more than one way. Tian fully looks up to him and trusts him with his life even though they have not known each other for long. He is also uncle to one of Mae's dearest friends, Moriel.
Moriel -Dearest friend to Mae and thus a friend to Tian as well.
Cassair -A powerful Enchanter Tian unfortunately crossed paths with after trying to explore Iadlain. Without knowing he was the count, Tian fully understood he was never welcome in Iadlain and now refuses to set foot in it.
Kairi - after a series of unfortunate events, Kairi was the light in Tian's life who helped him out when he was lost in Koben on his own with a badly wounded ear. She guided him to Song-Lu and reassured him that she would be there to help anytime . After that, Tian knew he would never forget her. Being a peacekeeper as well, Tian could only admire them even more than he already did
Ebony - a soon-to-be conjurer who kidnapped and almost killed Mae along with Blayne and Tian. If not for Blayne's quick thinking, they would have been. Meeting again after the battle, Ebony seemed like a complete different person. He was shy, cautious, and overall sweet. A complete 180. Both he and Tian have patching up to do still, but both are on amicable terms.
Usui Masamichi Ebony's father who helped Mae and Blayne out after they had arrived with his unconscious son. Tian quickly befriended him and sincerely thanks him for being so hospitable. Thanks to him Tian was also able to meet other light elves for the first time.
Sarain - an ascetic whom Tian met delightfully by chance. She was the first light elf he had seen since he was 12, which was when he last saw his own parents. With her help and training, Tian now has a regimen to follow to help him with his own self defense.
Kara & Etan - Performing traveling twins and relatives to Ebony. Both met Tian at Usui's house to Tian's delight once again. He asked them for guidance with his illusionist techniques and for some hopeful overseeing until he becomes an enchanter just like them.
Additional info:
-Uses spells to change his appearance to his liking (isn’t too fond of his light hair for obvious reasons)
--Thus the flower clips in his hair change color often
---the clips belonged to his mum
-he is slowly growing out his hair
-he had a phase where he hated clothes and was mostly naked. He grew out of it of course and just changed to sleeping naked instead (though he has since stopped doing that too since Maera's stay ovo'')
-enjoys dressing up as others
-While he enjoys traveling around Song-lu, he fears leaving it, as he thinks he too will never come back like his parents
--traveling gives him bad anxiety and may even become hysterical (aka the trip to Iadlain was super stressful to him and probably Blayne who had to deal with Tian)
-if he gets too close to your child I’m sorry he’s like that, he doesn’t value personal space
--that being said if you touch him he touches you back
-the orange beads seen hanging from his sash are actually enchanted charms given to him by his caretaker, they give him any protection or power boost whenever he may need. however never once have they activated (because he's a sheltered child)
-After his meet with Cass, Tian now has a permanent scar on his left ear which he tries to hide with elegant hair clips
