I love the variety of color palettes you use! Each deviation you post has a different color scheme than the last; very refreshing and pleasing to the eye~
This little griffin gal is precious ;;_____;; She seems perfect for a game or book protagonist. I vote for her to be a recurring character (your first quadruped lol). Using her for expression/body language sheets and conceptual artwork in all sorts of situations and landscapes would be excellent practice, I think. o:

Thank you!!
It's cool that you say this in particular, because this time, when I was thinking about what to draw, I actually looked at my gallery and thought "I'll try using an entirely different color scheme" lol ;; you picked right up on that!
I think this is a wonderful idea! perhaps you'll see more of her in the future... >B-(

thank you very much!!
I'm glad you like it! the background was initially kinda frustrating and didnt look like anything. sometimes you have to just keep working on it stubbornly until it takes shape pfft <___<

ugh thanks for the advice-- seems frustratingΒ
do you sketch the background out in pencil first or just go straight into shapes?Β

it changes every time lol
this time i drew a whole little background, colored it, and then got rid of it and started over, keeping only my griffin. other times i sketch something and then actually pay attention to the sketch pfft. it just depends really, either way is fine

I just start painting shapes but then I feel like it never turns out as "polished" for sure it doesn't. It's not like... uh structured or whatever.
What are words
This background actually has depth mine are always in one set perspective... I gotta work on that....

thank you very much!
I tried to do something a bit softer and sort of "airier" than usual with the shading and the placement so it would have a bit of a... uh, "garden-y" vibe to it, in a sense lol
