And as for the background, i was thinking only of an arizona sunset (because i mixed up arizona and nevada... lol) and a skybox from spyro with pretty colors and stars visible. But there's actually a couple surprising incidental similarities with this spongebob scene, wtf?? o___o it's kinda freaky when these things happen l-lol. but anyway no you're not crazy, i wasnt thinking of this though pfft

you did a good job on the desert sunset! I've been to Arizona and I'm moving there so I'd say you've portrayed it well ahaha especially the rock formations I was just being silly about the spongebob thing.

(Pardon my butting in, I’m knockabiller’s friend and a huge Crash fan and wanted to explain the pic)
What she meant is that she looked up Arizona by mistake when she actually meant to look up Nevada.
In the third Crash game, there are four levels where you race as Crash on a motorcycle through a desert highway with rock formations – a level that takes place during the day, one that takes place at night, one at sunset (my personal favorite level in the whole game), and a fourth one that also takes place at night but this time it’s pitch black and you only have Crash’s headlights to see. You also race glowing UFOs in this level lol, and the level is called “Area 51?” (the question mark is part of the title)
Waaaaaay back in the day, there was a tie-in official image for Crash 3 that was basically a cartoony “map of the world.” It showed that the motorcycle levels roughly take place in Nevada, which makes sense considering the desert highway and that it’s literally where Area 51 is irl.
Anyway, it’s just fanart of Crash in the motorcycle level with some fun, non-canon additions like the vendor and different sunset sky. It probably reminded you of SpongeBob just because they both had a desert highway, a sunset sky, and a biker anthro animal, haha, but all of those things are straight from the Crash level already.

Goshdang, I already told you the sky you went with was perfection, but I feel I must bring that fact up again. Glad you liked the inspiration I sent your way for it hehe.
The lighting is top-tier and the surprise little details you added are a delight. I was like WHOA when you made the stand actually look like a giant wumpa fruit. I forgot how fun it is when shows and stuff make vending stands in the shape of whatever it is they’re selling @___@ And SMOOVIEZ in that classic movie-theater-font is still so good. I forgot to ask if this was intentional or not, but I also really like how the lights over the menu make the whole side of the stand look like a huge notepad lol.
The vendor being a lab assistant drone was also a sweet detail and I enjoy how you conveniently can’t see how the heck Aku Aku is holding that money :U
BANDICOOT SIBS are wonderful as always. It’s good to see them in your style again!! I love Coco’s summer clothes (pink+purple!!!) and the color of the flower and eyeshadow. Crash plus bike is always an excellent combo cause the motorcycle levels are unironically my favorites and I LOVE that dumb green Hawaiian shirt on him omg
Those wumpa fruit smoothies honestly look delicious too. Poor Crash rapidly flapping his ear to try to get the bug to leave him alone as he’s trying to enjoy his tho ;; The body language in general is so good as well – Coco has the luck to just get to chill and drink her smoothie in peace while Crash is leaning away like “GET LOST. IT’S MINE” I’m imagining him leaning this way and that to get away from the bug wherever it moves. On another note, I love that you remembered that they only have four fingers on their hands!
The whole scene is so good and comfy, and also fitting considering the motorcycle levels actually have things like that and easter eggs along the desert highway. Going for a ride down an empty highway at dusk when it’s cooler, the stars just starting to appear, and stopping on the side of the road for a treat sounds so freaking amazing *____*
In fact, the scene is so good that I’ve been staring at this and can imagine what happens next playing out in my head as if it were a cartoon or cutscene. Some troublemaker suddenly blares past them and Coco doesn’t miss a beat and flips backwards perfectly into the seat of her convertible without even spilling a drop of her smoothie and away she goes after them, Aku Aku devastated because he didn’t get a chance to even get his smoothie but he still heads after her. Meanwhile, Crash is still fighting off the pesky bug before he looks around and realizes what just happened after a minute, so he quickly tilts his head back and downs the entire smoothie in one go, tosses the cup over his shoulder with that cartoon “item throwing” sound effect before it lands in the garbage can. Then he hops onto the seat of his motorcycle, uses his finger to shove his sunglasses back up over his eyes as he revs up his bike, then peels off onto the highway after Coco and Aku Aku with a big dumb cute grin on his face. These guys will never get a real vacation, huh?
So anyway tl;dr I LOVE IT
