I just moved to a new place, and for the first time in my life, I found a cockroach in my house.... ok, i'll play with wasps, spiders, and snakes... when that roach got away from me when I was trying to catch it, and it ran over the bare skin of my leg... I damn near screamed like a little girl...wtf is up with those things...
they are the enemy...
they cannot be destroyed...
i placed the little bugger on a porcelain dinner plate, and bounced my flash off the wall to the right...

I fucking hate and love cockroaches at the same time. They're really disgusting and the way they move those long antennae creeps me the freak out ... but at the same time, I'm fascinated on how resistant and versatile they are. Not to mention that if they weren't shit brown they might look pretty cool, or at least palatable (not in the edible sense, god no).

I just got done dealing with three of these gross lil fuckers. i hate them DX and it was all caught in skype convo with a friend of mine freaking out with me. Its been posted in my journal..... i still have the hebee-jeebies......

Ahhhhh! I just likked one a few mintues ago, I HATE HATE them, 3 reasons why people hate them, 1 they are ugly, 2 they eat and breed you out of house and home, and 3 they carry disease.
I hate roaches, my dad brought home a tv which happened to be infested with them.
I used boric acid hopefully they will all die!

Absolutely beautiful shot. I will NEVER be able to comprehend roach hate... ages ago, they used to be just as much a friend to humans as dogs. It's our own filth that makes them filthy, otherwise they're nature's little helpers just like any other useful insect.

We had a huge problem with earwigs last summer at my mom's place, there were hundreds of them in the living room. Unfortunately I've seen a few roaches here in my new apartment.

That's f***ing disturbing!!! I remember one of them damned roaches entering in my pant when I was little, I nearly had a heart attack! Since then I have had this "roach~phobia" and I can't even bear to watch them even on pictures!
