i sketch how i paint. base + highlight + lowlight at the most. not big on colours.

Nonetheless you still have the potential unquestionably.
I find that usually with sketches i will draw the outline one day, and fill it another day. A complex fill is almost like drawing another piece inside of your piece. Thats the way i see it atleast.

the other problem is that i only really have four or five coloured markers. heh. i have 10 greys, two greens, a blue, an orange and a brown. except one of the greens, the orange and the brown have all dried up.
