Previously, we showed you all an early design of Sonic for KNOTHOLE. Today, we're revealing our finalized design for the blue boy!

We decided on going back to his SatAM roots for his look while at the same time making sure to give him a unique design for the comic. We wanted to bring back the mohawk because a SatAM based project without that distinct mohawk look just felt wrong. It's wrong! We also wanted to stay true to our original idea for Sonic having two separate eyes and decided to make him a messy, scruffy looking guy with his quills.

We also ditched the backpack and replaced it with a messenger bag. You can see why we did that. He'll no doubt use it to keep power rings and chili dogs inside of it. Sonic Hedgehog: Finalized Design Sheet #1

We have a second model sheet for Sonic, but you'll have a wait a few days to check it out. Till then, let us know what you think of the blue streak's new look.
