Of all Ruto Redesign i like yours the most! But her legs are too long for a BotW Zora. Also her neck is too short.
Can you please also Redesign Prince Ralis, his mother and Queen Oreen?

What is an cookie cutter Zora? You mean Cuttlefish? I don't get it. Ralis only has this short tail because he is young. When ge grows up he would look like the other Zorad. Its pretty obviously. O.o
And Oreen is beautiful. Not as beautiful Rutela, but still..m of cours i know she is fat in reality. XD
Besides... Ruto is the one with an ugly head that has 2 more eyes.

I think he's saying he chose not to use the same proportions as the zora in BotW (for his own reasons). Which was probably for the better. You definitely want to keep enough of the design similar to the original when making another "version" or redesign like this. It helps the viewers recognize the character at a glance.

Ah... well people can still regonize her with that unique head, no other Zora have. When somebody want redesign a character in a style of an Anime or game, it is a part to also use the same proportion.
He did draw Ruto who everyone knows and regonize, in BotW style. Almost. Cause a BotW Zora is only a real BotW Zora, when they have the BotW proportion. Long body, short thick leg and long neck. He can draw very good and did a very good job with Ruto. I don't understand the deal, to not use the right proportion for the BotW Zora. Many artists have no problem to draw it. :/
You said "for the better". Are the Zora and Rito proportion that awful? I personal find it very elegant. It's nice to see Anthro chracters in not the same human anatomy. And the short asd legs are very cute. Especially on King Dorephan. XDDD
