The grips on the sides look comfortable. I wish Nintendo would release a hybrid motion/classic controller that looked like this for the Wii.

It could still be useful for some games, but yeah. I don't like the idea of it being a primary control scheme. Here's hoping the touchscreen for the Wii U is utilized well.

Unfortunately, I don't see many kids doing those things today. So many are spending hours on end staring at some kind of screen and pushing buttons. It makes me miss days past, when gaming was a luxury and a privilege that had to be earned.

That would be so much better. I hate the damn motion control. I bought SS finally but I am very hesitant about playing it because I'm so uncoordinatedly stupid, and it make just want to play the game unfair and frustrating. If they want to force me to be active I will run laps then come play. Just give me a regular gods damned contoller!

Additionally, flailing my arms all over the place just to play a game makes me feel stupid. Especially when it leads to inevitable failure. I'd rather play the conventional way via controller and save the arm flailing for maniacal runs through my neighborhood.
