Description
One of my newest and favorite Knowledge Fairy costumes débuted at The Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball! With a base dress of thrift store prom dress, I sewed on book pages for the dress, added embroidered beaded lace on the bodice and a belt with tassels. The wings are paper mached book pages with the original book open on the back (ancient mythology). Glitter and gold paint accents on the pages and gossamer fabric and mirror accents on the wings. I glued gems on my forehead to highlight my makeup and added a variety of items to my hair including wired butterflies and strings of pearls. Just add looking glass!
