Nice! I like the hair best, as thats what I suck at
One thing I would suggest though is that when drawing the face at this angle again, maybe make the left eye (as in the character's left) a little bigger for this angle, so its not so noticeable (I know I can't achieve such things but I'm sure your friend can perfect it)
