This is true. i'm still very impressed. What program did use? pardon me for asking, but i can't figure out how to use my photoshop cs2, and i was wondering if you might have used a newer version or something

It kills me that this kind of art gets so little attention, and yet anime gets tons.
Dont get me wrong I'm not trying to slam anime(cuz there's always a rabid fan out there to attack you for it)...but THIS is amazing. Real talent.

from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your words...I'm not sure if you saw, but this fantastic piece was drawn by another artist, I just added the colour.
I do agree with you about the anime problem (but me, I am an anime fan, so it makes life a bit easier)

Not a problem. Anime is fine in its own right, but for many young artists that have plenty of potential, it blocks them from expanding their horizons. The problem with anime is that there is a distinctive look to it, and when they try to stick to it, they don't really let their style expand.
They copy someone else's style, and though it's not copying, its not really their own work either.
There's nothing wrong with being a fan, it's just nice to see some original work...
(though you can tell the other artist that the linework was great as well!)
