Was this taken with a lomo or something? I haven't quite seen this sort of blurring out... well, this extent anyway. Did you use a filter? I love how everything draws the eye onto the street below.
Its like my mind and actions are being controlled. HAHA...

Actually no it was all done in photoshop. I intended to draw the attention to the street so thanks for loving it!

I have seen the blurring effect on many photos. The way you do it is a lot more on the exaggerated side. But it is really effective - which justifies the means.
Did you use layers? What kind of blur is that? Gaussian? Surface blur?
Sorry for the all the questions.

It's just one layer of the lens blur which you can then, of course, adjust the intensity. I applied a Q mask before to get the gradient effect of the blur.

Thanks for the tips man. I'm so excited to try it out. Haven't been doing a lot of photography lately but seeing works like yours makes me want to go back badly.

Brilliant t-s!
Doesn't necessarily resemble a miniature, but the effect prominently features the drive and all the lights on the street! Well done!

Right thank you very much. I discovered that t-s doesn't have to be used to create a miniature effect but to bring out a certain part of the photo which is what I wanted here.
