reminds me of the disney's little mermaid tv series, there was this episode where the sea people found a boot and ignoring what the thing was they started making up theories on its purpose. The whole thing escalated in a sort of political struggle over who should have owned the item, as soon as everyone convinced themselves somehow that the boot was a mysterious land dwellers' ultimate weapon of destruction, and whoever owned it would have been able to conquer all the Seas... lolwhat? xD
