Description

Since today is my birthday, I thought this might be a good time to start uploading the new/old Series of Anoma sinking.
I already published these Artworks of Anoma as sprites in one of my Quicksand-Game Demos, but not on my Art platforms and most importantly, not in high resolution. This changes now! ^^

Part 2: Anomas quicksand series part 2

======== Story ========

It was a pleasantly sunny day when Anoma wandered alone through the woods of her home forest. She was happy to finally be able to relax a little. When she strolls through the forest so thoughtfully, you can't tell that it's only been a few days since she went through a real hell:

Her demented father and his followers had locked her in an underground dungeon and wanted to sacrifice her in a quicksand pit as a kind of high priestess during one of his black magic rituals. During her entire stay she became almost insane with fear because the last family member she had left wanted to kill her for some magical nonsense. The deeper she sank during the ritual, the more panic and hopelessness began to spread within her. But shortly before she sank completely below the surface, her rescuer arrived: a green-haired girl named Leyla disrupted the ritual and sent her father's followers fleeing. She was able to free Anoma from the greedy mud pit and barely escaped with her.

Now they have set up a small camp in the forest and are planning what will happen next for both of them. Anoma was able to tell Leyla all the worries and fears that plagued her. She could confide all her traumatic experiences to her. She still found it kinda strange how an unknown person could give her such security after all what’s happened. Anoma's feelings towards her rescuer also changed over the course of these days... she felt more and more attracted to her. She kept looking at her with curious eyes and even dreamed of her.

Even now she couldn't get Leyla out of her head. But she also had new worries: Wouldn't Leyla see her as a burden or an annoyance if she was always staying so close to her? Anoma felt that she had to somehow show her appreciation for everything Leyla had done for her. But what would be appropriate for this?

While she was so absorbed in her thoughts, she paid no attention to the path in front of her. So it happened that she didn't even noticed the big mud hole in front of her that she was - of course - heading straight towards for. Anoma only noticed her situation when it was too late: she suddenly sank lower with one step and was stuck in the soft, creamy mass up to her round butt.

“UAAAH! What? How? Bleh! Great! That's what I get from daydreaming! I traipsed into this obvious mud hole! Oh man, how am I supposed to explain Leyla why I'm so dirty? I better hurry up and get out of here before my boots get completely soaked! Eeewww, that’s so gross!”

Anoma tried to move towards the shore, but it was difficult for her to move in this very tough mass. As she pushed against the mud with her steps, her bottom made quite emphatic movements in the mud.

"urgh... I hope no one sees me like that... that would be really embarrassing..."
