Kobaltina didn't stop tugging at her arms.
She didn't like this situation at all.
Each time she managed to pull her hips out a tiny bit, the suction and sticky consistency of the mud pulled her down again.
"Damned! I have to get out of here as soon as possible! Everyone is counting on me! But I'm getting sucked in deeper and deeper!”
Kobaltina growled a little as she braced her arms behind her and squeezed with all her strength.
But nothing helped.
"Okay… I have to stay calm. I mustn't move too extreme, otherwise I'll sink in faster. Okay… take a deep breath.”
Kobaltina tried to calm herself with these words, but her gaze kept wandering down to the viscous, yellow mud that slowly crept up her waist and fixed her arms in its sticky mass.
"I have to do something... but what?"
She tried to think of something, but her own panic prevented her from coming up with a calm, coherent thought.
Meanwhile, she was slowly but steadily being pulled deeper and deeper into the soft and sticky ground.
