Huzzah for old school Turtles!Finally got around to coloring this thing. It's probably not the best thing I've ever done, but I got to play with lighting and stuff. And that was fun. I like how it came out, anyway... though I might hate it in a few months.
Ah well, such is life.

This is really cool, I love how they all have the original red bands. Man, I wish I could find more of the old comics because besides two Tales of the TMNT comics the only time i have seen the original turtles was in Turtles Forever and they were find of jerks in that one.

Everything is beautiful and i love it..... but you made them all with the same head band... i may be wrong but every-time i look up the turtles they have had different color head bands red blue purple and orange.
Raph- red
Leo- blue
Don- purple
Mikey- orange

The multicolored headbands were introduced for the 1987 cartoon so kids would remember who was who. In the original comic books, the Turtles all wore red. And even in (most) modern issues, they still all wear red.

the only thing i see wrong w/ this is the color of their bandannas. Leo(swords) is Blue, Donny(staff) is purple, Mikey(chucks) is orange, and only Raff(Tsais) is red. itd be nice if there were a second copy of this w/ the right colors. i would definately fav it. i love how they're portrayed here.

The original comic book TMNT (first published in 1984, predating the cartoon) all wore red masks. The colors were only added when the old cartoon began in 1987 because they figured the kids wouldn't be able to tell them apart otherwise. So these are the original Turtles. I appreciate you trying to help, though.

In the original and darker Ninja Turtles comics, all four wore red on the covers, but it was all black and white anyway. You told the Turtles apart by their personality and/or weapon. It was only changed for the '80s cartoon so the kids could tell them apart more easily.

Leo probably has the weakest pose out of the four because I drew him before I decided to make it a group shot. It was another one of those doodles that became something cool beyond my control. Hence the somewhat random hand-in-a-fist pose.
Maybe he's giving some kind of motivational speech or something, and Raph just doesn't care.

very cool...my fave thing about this is the shine on the weapons. A very small detail but it makes all the difference. I also like how you drew the legs and feet...geez, I can sure pick out the random stuff.

Hey, now this is nice. Very oldschool. I love the way you have the light of the moon reflected in the outlines on the right or left side (all depends how you look at it) of the characters which allows some of the areas to pop out from the rest. Even if it's not your intention, It looks like Leo is scolding Raph which is also a nice touch. Excellent work sis!

LOL! I can just imagine Leo going off and none of them paying attention to him. Or, Leo scolds mikey and does the "I'm watching you" had gesture but Mikey just giggles and it's like, whatever.
It's tough being the leader of the group but those are the little things that makes their relationship with one another so fun. You can play with it a little bit.
