Can I just say that, aside from some truly awesome color useage going on here, that the ' Hi! I am a Ribbon!" andΒ "I am a Ribbon Too!" are hands down my favorite aspect of this layout?

The essentials to this type of design is using Smart Objects a lot. Utilize those and in them work what you already know about in painting (lighting, shadowing, material, texture).Β

mirage-gothic is the font, if I am not mistaken, I did this so long ago, it cries for a rework too. I think it's crap, gonna redo it soon. xD
