Amazingly enough, in February, it'll be a YEAR since I've been collecting models and using XNALara/XPS. In that time, I've not only learned how to pose the models, I've learned how to mesh-mod in XPS. But, mostly how to pose. I have the MK 9 Cyborgs (and Human! Cyrax) to thank for this, if it wasn't for Sektor, Human! Cyrax and Cyber Zero's original bones, (and my desire to play with Cyrax) I would have been stuck using user-made poses. That, or just not use the models. These three, above all the mesh-mods and even the female models I play with, are my most-used models in the programs.

Which brings me to (yet again) re-render old XNALara pictures. When I'm bored, I often look at my gallery and look at stuff I want to re-do. A LOT of my early attempts at XNALara warrant a second attempt. 'How to Troll Edenians' was among the early forays into posing and 3D humor. I wanted to see what I can really do now and ACTUALLY try at improving the original renders.

I can honestly say, this remix is a HUGE improvement over this: [link] .
The shadows are a new thing I'm trying with XPS, I'm surprised they worked so well with the models. Don't expect them to appear in EVERY render, though. I remember whining over how I couldn't pose Mileena's sais. Now that I CAN pose, I can't believe I whined over that. Those weapons were EASY to pose compared to posing the unfortunate bastards modelling them.

As it's a common habit in any humorous pictures involving him, posing Cyrax was easy. It's all in , which was perfect for him since he's trolling Jade, who also isn't shy about hers I also including her boomerang, to try to draw more attention to his ass.

Sektor and Sub-Zero were not so easy as to submit to my yaoi fangirl whims, however.

I remembered how much I hated Sektor's pose in the original render and wanted to change it. Since he's trolling Milly, I had to do a better job posing her sai, first. I decided that instead of him standing, he needed to be kneeling, which, oddly, seems to fit Milly's normal sexy/deadly poses. The sais were supper easy to pose when I didn't have to spend an hour getting them into Sektor's hands. And of course, I simply HAD to put the Trolling! visors on him.

As for Cyber Zero, the only character whose pose I liked in the original render, I went with him actually walking with Kitana's fans. At least the post is more dynamic and parodies Kitana. I miss the MK/DC fans, but I was happy to finally have Kitana's MK9 fans.
