The Big Brother Ponies were introduced in G1 Year 5, between 1986 - 1987, and were the first adult male My Little Ponies. If you grew up playing with MLP, you probably had at least one in your herd.
In Europe, additional males were produced, known as the Mountain Boy Ponies. Like their adventurous cousins the Big Brothers, they have shaggy hooves like Clydesdale horses. Their symbols are all related to meteorological elements.

Looking good! You're getting nice smoothness with the pencils, which is hard for me. >_< I would suggest bringing more colors into each color, if that makes sense, like browns or a bit of purple into the shadows of the yellow and deeper reds into the shadows of the pink. It'll really richen each color. Pencils are such a fantastic medium for layers, I strongly suggest taking advantage of it. Go darker and bolder. Make some strong contrast! It's hard to get the hang of strong values (I struggle with it) but with them, the picture has so much more depth and life. I agree with Rad, the colors are staying nice and bright and not muddied. ^_^ I love his face! XD So cute!!

He's so cute! He's my favorite of the Big Brother ponies.
